WSNB are enjoying some great success with their new album Oktibbeha County recorded and mixed here. Things are on the up-swing for these great guys...and all over the country, too! This album just voted #5 top Blues Album of the Year at WNCW!

Velvet Truckstop continue to up the ante in what it means to be true Southern Rockers, having appeared as part of Warren Haynes' annual Christmas Jam back in December 2008. Their new album, Sweet Release hit the streets in September 2009 featuring some excellent new original material. There's a preview of the album here and a live cut from a recent performance. This album just voted #5 top Regional Album of the Year at WNCW!

Woody Wood and Hollywood Red are a rocking three piece from Asheville, NC. Woody is joined by Tony Black on bass, and Chris Pyle, Artimus Pyle's son on drums. These guys can play! Woody has a formidable musical pedigree. There's no doubt the cat can play...and sing! Some of that is represented here in a live cut captured by the Blantone Music Mobile Unit, and mixed and mastered here in the studio!

Kellin Watson is one talented lady! She writes, she sings, she plays, and to top it all off, she's beautiful! Check out what the Blantone Mobile Unit caught at the White Horse in Black Mountain, NC, Kellin's hometown!

Blue Ridge Brass and the Montreat Scottish Pipe & Drums have finished their latest album, Butterfly & Thistles, which was mixed in part here, and mastered here Stay tuned for brass and bagpipes doing Paul McCartney!

The next installment of new tunes here will include material from singer-songwriters Freddy Bradburn and Ruth Wakefield, and from funky locals East Coast Dirt. I'll also have some cuts from the Blue Ridge Brass and the Montreat Scottish Pipes and Drums which is now mastered ands awaiting editing and file conversion!
